Aspiring filmmakers have two deadlines to enter their film - 2 September and early October. According to Anthony Foreman, founder and event director of this, one of Oklahoma’s top festivals, “We’ve already received a lot of films and will continue accepting them through early October.”

The Michigan Film Festival will kick off with a reception and workshop Aug. 28 at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, 101 Monroe Center NW.
