Screenwriter will give masterclass at Connecticut Film Festival

Films bring our imagination to life, says James V. Hart, the screenwriter behind "Hook," "August Rush" and "Contact."

Hart gives a glimpse into his vast imagination in the Q&A below. But you can ask him your own questions following a screening of "August Rush" Thursday in Danbury.

The 7 p.m. screening -- part of the Connecticut Film Festival -- will be at the Palace Theatre, 165 Main St....

Connecticut Film Ffestival  - Danbury, June 2nd to 7th 2009

If you could be guaranteed as to when you would lay eyes on your true love would you want to know?

That’s the question asked in the film TiMER, which will open the Connecticut Film Festival on Tuesday, June 2, 7 p.m., at The Palace Theater in Danbury. It is one of more than 130 independent films to be shown during the festival’s run from June 2 to 7 in Danbury.
